Turtle Island Foods has been producing a variety of innovative soy products since 1980. The first product they made was tempeh and today about 40 percent of the tempeh consumed in America is produced by Turtle Island Foods. In 1995, the company introduced Tofurky Vegetarian Feast as a turkey substitute. It is sold during the holiday season. They have added Tofurky jurkey and Tofurky deli slices which are hugely popular.
