Staff Awards for Excellence Four members of the college’s professional staff are honored for outstanding performance and demonstrated professional excellence by this award. Two awards for sustained excellence are presented to individuals selected for exceptionally outstanding and meritorious work over a minimum period of ten years. Two awards for innovation and creativity are presented to individuals who have demonstrated special initiative through innovative or creative effort. All professional staff, including academic professionals, teaching associates, and others with similar responsibilities, on active paid appointment in the College of ACES during any part of the year of nomination are eligible for consideration. Each award includes a certificate of recognition and a recurring annual salary increment of $500. The 1999 Professional Staff Award for Excellence winners are: Edward N.
