Alumni Association Award of Merit The ACES Alumni Association Award of Merit is given annually to four college graduates who have made significant contributions to their chosen professions and to the human sciences and food and natural resources industries. Each Award of Merit winner mirrors in a special way the land-grant spirit and mandate of the ACES Alumni Association. Their loyalty and support of the college and university has included assisting in the development of financial resources for the college and its students; facilitating and supporting college and alumni activities; providing alumni and students with opportunities for professional growth and development; and acting as a point of contact in their professional field. These individuals have also assumed responsibilities beyond their profession and have taken their time and talents into a broader public. The communities in which they live have been enriched by their leadership skills, their knowledge transfer, and their dedication to improving the quality of life.
